Our School consists of the Departments of Forestry -Wood Science and Design, Environment Sciences, Energy Systems, and Digital Systems, which cover areas at the forefront of technology.

These four Departments, in the few years of operation of the School, have to demonstrate remarkable educational work in both undergraduate and postgraduate and doctoral programs as well as postdoctoral research. The Departments, as well as the synergies between them, cover a wide range of human and environmental activities and help resolve important issues of concern to Humanity.

The rational management of energy has always been important, even more today. The use of new energy sourcesthat are friendly to an increasingly burdened environment where the lungs of our Earth, our forests, are constantly shrinking will help on resolving such issues. At the same time, the rapidly evolving digital transformation and the adoption of smart devices with a pervasive intelligence are contributing to a more promising future by optimizing the aforementioned issues.

The goal of the School is its continuous development with the creation of new Departments, research centers, and networking centers. Three Research Laboratories have already been created or are in the creation phase that will help in further research as well as collaborations with research centers abroad. In addition, the Department of Digital Systems is in the process of negotiating its participation in the global quantum computing network.

The School’s ambition is to gain a reputation as a modern academic unit. To provide educational and research work that meets the needs of society but also the extroversion and contact of its Departments with the needs of our region and our country to determine each of its future goals and steps.

The graduates of the Departments of the School will also play an important role in achieving the above objectives, who will contribute to the solution of the technological problems that concern us. Our vision is to provide the best possible education to our students so that they can contribute to the development and progress of our place as well as the transmission of values ​​such as ethics, innovation and the promotion of collective work for the benefit of society.
